We loved the view from The Bund, the visit inside Pearl Tower and Yu Garden. We plan to come back and spend more time to discover Shanghai. The guide was great. Jane made everything to make us feel great! Maybe we will contact her next time, she is nice, friendly, helpful. She made our day!

I was very satisfied with the tour. If anything, it exceeded my expectations. My guide spoke excellent English, was very knowledgeable and accommodating to my needs. In addition, she was very friendly, and we saw all of the major sites in Shanghai. I would recommend this tour without any reservations to my friends or to anyone going to Shanghai.

Just went on this Shanghai night tour with my mother and Tommy was the best tour guide we could've asked for! He is knowledgeable, polite, and always goes the extra mile to take care of his clients. He made us feel extremely comfortable and showed us all the major tourist destinations in the Pudong/Old Town Shanghai areas in addition to the cruise. The cruise itself was wonderful as well. We got picked up on time by a darling great English speaking guide, David. He was knowledgeable about all things in China and Shanghai and where we were going. The car was new and clean. The area was so unique and so different from Shanghai but only about an hour away. I would do this tour for sure. It was really neat to see such a different place. It really was the Venice of China. David and the driver were wonderful.

We explored Shanghai city as a family group with the lovely tour guide Nancy. Literally, Nancy made our tour today unforgettable and enjoyable too, she is really good in communication with the visitors by exchanging helpful information about a specific places. Also, she is so friendly and flexible in selecting places you want to visit the most. We had visit local places which are cool, special and unique where the majority of international visitors won’t know about it. We used Shanghai Private Tour for a customised private tour of Shanghai for 4 people, and had the most amazing time. Bonnie, our tour planner was so organised, the day tours and travel arrangements all worked without a hitch. They also sent us the letter to assist with our China visas. The history of Shanghai is different to the rest of China and this tour gives you a great background of the British, French and American concessions. Our favourite was the chic shops in the French Concession and something we wanted to go back and spend the day wandering through. With the rain and a sick child, we cut that part short. Alex was a great guide and his english was excellent - he helped us arrange the lunch at a local Shanghai restaurant which was EXCELLENT! No hesitation is recommending Shanghai Private Tour and tour guide Alex.

This was my third time back in Shanghai with my family (first time) and I have never gotten a better experience until I was able to go on a private tour with Alex. He did an excellent job of showing us around the Yu Garden, Jade Buddha Temple, The Bund, and the French Concession, full view on the top of the Shanghai Tower providing us great details about the sites and the Chinese culture and history. He was very flexible in allowing us to spend as much time as we wanted at these sites, as well as helping us with whatever we needed. We were able to have an authentic lunch at a delicious Shanghainese restaurant. Also, a great person to practice your Chinese with if you have been learning the language. Couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide. Would highly recommend!! What an experience!!

We truly had a wonderful day in Shanghai. Alex, our tour guide, spoke excellent English and was very flexible with the planned itinerary. We visited the Bund, the Temple,the Yu Garden, and lastly the arranged marriage market that occurs only on weekends. The entire family enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend it, especially with Alex. Lunch was also great! Thank you Alex and Shanghai Private Tour! We hope to see you again some day in China.

It was our second trip to Hangzhou. My husband and I very much enjoyed our trip.Our tour guide Nancy was extremely knowledgeable giving us an excellent insight into Chinese history, geography, politics and popular culture. She really went our of her way to make everyone on the tour happy. Everything from pick at our hotel in Shanghai, round way first class train ride, lunch at a local restaurant and return to the hotel was perfect. Really had a nice time. Overall the experience was really nice!!!
