From the moment we landed in Shanghai, it was clear that this was going to be a trip to remember. Darcy in Shanghai was exceptional! She made sure we didn’t just visit Nanjing Road or take a typical boat cruise along the Huangpu River; she shared insightful stories about Shanghai’s transformation, making every landmark feel alive. The Jade Buddha Temple was more than just a visit to a temple—Darcy gave us such a rich cultural context that made the visit much deeper than expected.

When we moved to Beijing, Andy picked us up and instantly set the tone for a fantastic second half of the trip. He brought Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and Jingshan Park to life with fascinating historical details that gave us a better understanding of China’s past and its modern evolution. I’ve never seen the Summer Palace and Temple of Heaven explained so beautifully.
