We had a fantastic tour with our guide Alex. He spoke excellent English and was easy to communicate with throughout the day. We were able to get to the Shanghai Bund, Zhujiajiao Water Town, Jade Buddha Temple and Yuyuan Bazaar (the garden was closed for updates) so it was a very informative and well run day. Our driver also did a great job of driving through some very busy traffic and we felt safe in our comfortable vehicle. We would absolutely recommend this day tour for a superb overview of Shanghai, both old and new. Thank you to Alex for providing us a memorable day!!

Very much enjoyed this full day tour with our guide Sam. Started in Zhujiajiao which mid week was not crowded in the morning. We toured a garden ( guide explained the Kew gardens was closed and this gave us the same “ feel”), took a short gondola ride ( this is the Venice of China) then walked through a shopping district and finally had an excellent lunch. Our guide, Sam, was very knowledgeable and was easy to understand and had a very pleasant demeanor. After Zhujiajiao we headed into downtown for the other highlights: Yuyuan bazar & The Bund. Do be prepared for a lot of time in the car as Shanghai is huge and it takes a long time between stops. That said, our driver magically appeared when we needed him, provided water, and a clean comfortable ride. All in all, I feel we got an excellent overview of the old and the new which is modern Shanghai.

We had a fantastic time today with our tour guide David. We walked along the bund to begin our day and then went to Shanghai tower (Option on our own) where once we soared to the top David pointed out the interesting buildings and neighborhoods and told us all about them. We also went to Yuu Market, so interesting and full of life, we did some shopping and then went to the Zhujiajiao water village. There we had a wonderful lunch in the traditional style before taking our river cruise. Then David took us through the beautiful gardens and told us about its rich history. We did everything we set out to do and learned so much from our knowledgeable guide, thank you David!!!!

We had the best day with our guide David in Shanghai. He took us to the Zhujiaiajiau water town which was very beautiful. We had a relaxing ride in the gondola and we then had the opportunity to buy gifts in the many local shops at a very reasonable price. We then went to the Jade Buddha Temple which was well worth a visit and David was very informative, making this more interesting. It was a calming and spiritual place to be.
Finally, we went to the Yu Gardens, walking through the Old Town to get there.
David and our driver were very flexible and allowed us to change parts of our itinerary during our tour.
Thank you David for looking after us, we would recommend this tour to fit in the highlights of Shanghai in a day.

We got picked up on time by a darling great English speaking guide, David. He was knowledgeable about all things in China and Shanghai and where we were going. The car was new and clean. The area was so unique and so different from Shanghai but only about an hour away. I would do this tour for sure. It was really neat to see such a different place. It really was the Venice of China. David and the driver were wonderful.

It was an amazing tour, a day very well spent. The guide was very professional and supportive, helping even with negotiations at the Zhujiajiao water town market. The whole day package was very well put together. We drove to the Zhujiajiao water town from Shanghai at 9:00am and back to Shanghai city skyline watching after a very good lunch at the town. I would recommend it to everybody. Ask for Jin, the super guide.

Shanghai Private Tour was absolutely marvelous throughout the entire process of planning and arranging our trip which was essentially perfect. In planning, they gave great advice that kept us from being overly ambitious while seeing a huge number of places and sites with an excellent variety that exactly matched what we told them we were looking for. Our tour guide David was superb -- always on time, spoke truly excellent English, was quite knowledgeable and bent over backwards to make sure we had a marvelous time. On a couple of occasions we asked to change the original itinerary and he adjusted seamlessly and graciously. We just cannot say enough good things about the teams we had during the trip. Whenever we had questions (or self-induced problems, the headquarters team from Shanghai private tour was always available to answer.Highly recommend Shanghai private tour to all of you if you want to travel to Shanghai.
