A quick getaway from Shanghai to Hangzhou was exactly what I needed! The day was perfectly organized. Our guide, Andy, was amazing—knowledgeable, friendly, and easygoing. West Lake, with the iconic Three Ponds Mirroring the Moon, was breathtaking. Andy explained the significance of each spot, adding rich details that brought the scenery to life.
After a peaceful boat ride on the lake, we visited the Dragon Well Tea Plantation. Andy shared stories about the tea-making process, which made the tasting experience much more enjoyable. The Bamboo-lined Path at Yunqi was serene and refreshing, offering a lovely escape from the city buzz.
The day wrapped up with a stroll through Hefang Street, where we got a taste of Hangzhou’s local culture. Our driver was also great, ensuring smooth travel throughout. A well-rounded, enjoyable day, and I definitely recommend it for anyone visiting Shanghai!
