In Chongqing, our guide not only showed us Hongya Cave and Tiankeng Three Bridges, but also led us through hidden alleyways for la zhu mian and taught us how to spot the best douhua. Chengdu’s guide mixed panda visits with fun hands-on experiences like folding dumplings at a teahouse in People’s Park. Guilin’s guide added depth to our Li River cruise with stories about local cuisine and customs.

The drivers were reliable and attentive, navigating everything from mountain roads to countryside lanes with ease. Cars were always clean, cool, and spacious—even with all our chili oil and tea souvenirs. Breaks were perfectly timed around meals, keeping the pace relaxed and enjoyable.
