I’ve always wanted to visit Beijing, and this 3-day trip was everything I hoped for. The Summer Palace was stunning—so peaceful with its gardens and lake. It felt like a true escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The Hutongs were next, and I loved how we could really get a sense of old Beijing, just wandering through the narrow streets and popping into little local shops. Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City were both breathtaking, but I especially appreciated our guide’s insights into the history. Ending with the Mutianyu Great Wall was the perfect touch—fewer people, great views. A solid introduction to Beijing in just a few days!
