In Hangzhou, Autumn made us feel immediately welcome. Her enthusiasm for the city was contagious, and her knowledge of West Lake, its history, and tea culture brought every corner of the city to life. The boat cruise on West Lake was serene and peaceful, and visiting the Meijiawu Tea Plantation was a highlight—Autumn’s insights into the region’s tea culture were fascinating. Her warm, friendly nature turned every moment into a special memory, making Hangzhou an experience we’ll never forget.

Suzhou was equally captivating. Darcy was our guide here, and his blend of humor and deep knowledge of the city’s gardens made the day so enjoyable. The Lingering Garden was an absolute gem, and Darcy’s explanations about traditional Chinese garden design gave us a much deeper appreciation for the space. The Grand Canal boat ride was peaceful, offering a quiet glimpse into the city’s ancient charm, and Darcy’s commentary helped us connect with Suzhou’s history in a meaningful way.

Ending the trip in Tongli was the perfect choice. The ancient water town felt like stepping into a different world—its quiet canals and traditional architecture were simply magical. Our guide there shared fascinating stories about the town’s history, and the relaxed pace of the day allowed us to truly soak in the atmosphere. It was the perfect way to wrap up our journey.

Throughout the entire trip, the guides and drivers were exceptional. Every detail was seamlessly arranged—train transfers, meals, and transport—so we could focus on enjoying the sights and learning about each destination.
