Our 7-day adventure from Shanghai to Xi'an and Beijing was a captivating exploration of China’s imperial history and vibrant culture. In Xi'an, we began with the incredible Terracotta Warriors and later learned the craft of noodle-making at a local farmhouse. The highlight of the evening was the Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show, accompanied by a delicious dumpling banquet. The trip continued with a high-speed train to Beijing, where our guide, Darcy, expertly led us through Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and the ancient Beijing Hutongs. The Mutianyu Great Wall, the Temple of Heaven, and a Peking Opera performance were unforgettable experiences. Throughout the journey, Andy and Darcy ensured we enjoyed a seamless, educational, and enriching tour, making each day feel unique and special.
