A 5-Day Adventure Through Beijing’s Rich History and Culture

From the moment we landed in Beijing, the adventure began. Our guide, Andy, was extremely professional and knowledgeable, offering us an immersive experience throughout the trip. On day one, we were introduced to the charming hutongs and Siheyuan courtyard homes, giving us a glimpse into Beijing’s traditional architecture. We capped it off with a Peking Opera performance, a fantastic way to experience China’s unique performing arts.

The second day was packed with history, starting with Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City, where Andy’s insightful explanations brought the imperial history to life. Jingshan Park offered amazing panoramic views of the Forbidden City. The bustling Wangfujing Street was an exciting end to the day with its shopping and street food.

Our third day took us to the Temple of Heaven, where we participated in a Tai Chi session. Visiting Yonghe Palace was a spiritual journey, and walking through Qianmen Street gave us a taste of old Beijing.

The next day was a highlight—the Mutianyu Great Wall, which was breathtaking. We also visited the Dingling Tomb and the Bird’s Nest, a symbol of modern Beijing.

The final day at the Summer Palace was a peaceful retreat, the perfect way to end our trip before heading back to Shanghai. Andy’s expertise and the smooth transitions between locations made the trip unforgettable, and the company’s attention to detail ensured everything was seamless.
