Traveling from Shanghai to Beijing for a three-day tour was one of the most enriching experiences I’ve had in China. From the moment we arrived at the high-speed train station, the trip was seamless. Our guide, Andy, was incredibly knowledgeable and made sure we got the most out of every moment. On the first day, we explored the buzzing Wangfujing Street, where we tried local snacks and enjoyed the lively atmosphere, followed by a visit to the Summer Palace, which was a peaceful contrast with its beautiful gardens and rich history.

The second day was spent at two of Beijing’s most iconic historical sites—the Mutianyu Great Wall and the Ming Tombs. Andy’s insight into the history of these landmarks, especially the Great Wall, was fascinating. We even had the chance to hike part of the Wall, enjoying the stunning views and quiet, less-crowded sections. On the final day, we wrapped up with a visit to the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, and the Temple of Heaven. It was a whirlwind of culture, history, and architectural beauty. Thanks to Andy’s guidance and expertise, we never felt rushed and always had time to appreciate the details. This tour was a perfect way to explore Beijing in just three days, and I would recommend it to anyone visiting the city.
