I had an unforgettable three-day journey through Hangzhou, and the entire experience was made exceptional by our guide, Autumn. From the start, she introduced us to the city’s rich history, taking us through the Southern Song Imperial Street, where we admired the historical architecture and traditional shops. We also explored several unique museums, such as the China Scissors, Knives, and Swords Museum, the Hangzhou Fan Museum, and the Hangzhou Umbrella Museum, where we learned about the city’s ancient craftsmanship and cultural treasures.

Beyond the history, Autumn gave us the opportunity to experience Hangzhou’s natural beauty. We visited Xixi Wetland, a peaceful escape filled with lush greenery, and explored the famous Dragon Well Tea Plantation, where we learned about tea production and enjoyed a traditional Song Dynasty tea ceremony. The highlight of the trip was the visit to Leifeng Pagoda, where we were treated to panoramic views of West Lake and the surrounding area.

We also ventured into Hangzhou’s modern side, visiting Alibaba’s headquarters and learning about the city’s role in China’s tech landscape. The balance of tradition and innovation in Hangzhou was perfectly captured, and Autumn’s in-depth knowledge and attention to detail made the trip seamless and enjoyable.
