This day trip from Shanghai to Suzhou was incredible, thanks to our fantastic guide, Andy. He expertly guided us through some of Suzhou’s most iconic attractions, starting with the stunning Lingering Garden, where the peaceful layout and traditional design really captured the essence of classical Chinese gardens. We continued with a visit to Panmen Gate, an ancient city gate that provided a glimpse into Suzhou’s rich history. Hanshan Temple was another highlight, with its tranquil surroundings and impressive architecture, making it a perfect spot to reflect and take in the atmosphere. To end our day, we wandered through Shantang Street, a charming pedestrian street with old-style architecture and a vibrant, local feel. Andy was a true professional, sharing in-depth historical and cultural insights that made the trip even more enriching. The entire experience was smooth and enjoyable, with great transportation and seamless transitions between the locations.
