This two-day tour from Shanghai to Suzhou and Hangzhou was an incredible way to explore both cities. In Suzhou, we visited the Lingering Garden, known for its tranquil beauty and intricate design, before heading to Panmen Gate and Pingjiang Historic Street, where the traditional architecture and canals gave us a real feel of old Suzhou. A stop at the Suzhou No.1 Silk Mill offered a fascinating glimpse into the city’s silk-making history. On the second day, we explored Hangzhou, starting with a boat ride on the stunning West Lake, surrounded by lush scenery and ancient pagodas. We then visited the serene Guo Garden and the Meijiawu Tea Plantation, where we learned about the region’s famous tea culture. The Bamboo Lined Path at Yunqi was a peaceful walk through towering bamboo, while the modern Qianjiang CBD showcased the city's impressive skyline. Our guide was knowledgeable, and the driver ensured everything ran smoothly, making for a well-paced, seamless journey.
