Suzhou was a surprise hit. Darcy showed us a quiet Lingering Garden courtyard, we enjoyed Hanshan Temple’s evening bell, and she haggled for amazing mango sticky rice on Shantang Street. Our driver was top-notch: clean car, cold AC, fast inter-city drives, and patient with our snack stops.

Beijing was epic. Hanah got us early access to Forbidden City for crowd-free group photos, took us to less-busy Mutianyu Great Wall, and guided us through Universal Studios. She also found a hidden food alley near Wangfujing for great lamb skewers.
