This three-day adventure packed an incredible amount of beauty and culture into a short timeframe, beginning with an early morning flight from Shanghai to Chengdu where we were greeted by our guide Hanah who immediately impressed us with her efficiency and knowledge. She expertly navigated us through the Dujiangyan Panda Base where we witnessed these magnificent creatures during their most active morning feeding time, then seamlessly transitioned to the cultural richness of Wuhou Temple and the vibrant energy of Jinli Ancient Street with its delicious local snacks. The comfortable train journey to Jiuzhaigou allowed us to rest before arriving at our hotel, and the next day's exploration of Huanglong National Park left us breathless with its stunning turquoise pools and dramatic mountain scenery. Hanah's thoughtful planning was evident throughout - from perfectly timed transfers to her insightful commentary that deepened our appreciation for each location. Despite the compact schedule, we never felt rushed thanks to her exceptional organizational skills and the tour company's flawless coordination between flights, trains, and local transportation.
