The four of us had a great full day tour of many diverse sites in Shanghai. We started with the Watertown tour which was an interesting historical contrast to the hustle and bustle of the downtown Shanghai area. We visited a beautiful garden, and saw an extremely interesting local market with all kinds of delicacies to try. We took a boat ride through the river and under the bridges of the town. Afterward, we headed back to the core of Shanghai. Our guide Sam, provided us with many interesting facts about the history of Shanghai and the current situation and culture in China and in Shanghai. We visited the Yu market in old town Shanghai, the Bund area along the river. We thoroughly enjoyed our day and our wonderful guide Sam!
