I recently had the pleasure of experiencing a day trip through Shanghai with Andy as our guide. The itinerary promised a mix of history, culture, and modernity, and it certainly delivered. We started with a scenic visit to Zhujiajiao Water Town, one of Shanghai's most famous ancient towns, known for its canals and picturesque lanes. The highlight of the day was The Bund, with its stunning skyline views of the modern city juxtaposed with colonial-era buildings. Andy’s passion for the city’s history made this stop truly special. He gave us a perfect rundown of Shanghai’s transformation from a small fishing village to the global metropolis it is today. We ended our tour by walking along the Bund, taking in the beautiful view of the Huangpu River, which Andy described as the lifeblood of the city.

Our day ended smoothly, with a comfortable ride back to our hotel. The driver was punctual and made the trip feel effortless. The vehicle was clean and spacious, providing a comfortable ride between the various sights.
