Our three-day trip to Shanghai was an incredible experience, and Mark, our guide, made it all the more special. We started with a free day on arrival, which gave us the perfect opportunity to explore some of Shanghai’s vibrant neighborhoods at our own pace. Mark recommended the lively Nanjing Road and peaceful Yuyuan Garden for our solo exploration.

On day two, Mark took us through the must-see spots, starting with the Bund, where we admired the stunning skyline and heard fascinating stories about Shanghai’s colonial past. We then visited Yuyuan Garden & Bazaar, a beautiful retreat filled with lush gardens and traditional shops, where Mark helped us find some great souvenirs. The Old French Concession and Tianzifang were charming, with Mark pointing out hidden gems as we walked through tree-lined streets and art-filled alleys.

The last day was a highlight, with a relaxing trip to Zhujiajiao Water Town. The boat cruise was peaceful and scenic, and Mark shared stories of the town’s history and traditions. We had plenty of time to explore the quiet streets, try local snacks, and take photos of the ancient bridges and canals.

The driver was excellent, always on time and ensuring our comfort. Mark’s warmth, knowledge, and flexibility made our time in Shanghai unforgettable. This tour is a perfect way to see the best of Shanghai and escape the hustle and bustle with a peaceful day at Zhujiajiao.
