I recently took a 5-day tour from Shanghai to Hangzhou and Suzhou, and it exceeded all my expectations. Each city had its own unique beauty, and the guides were fantastic.

Hangzhou was a highlight, with Amy as my guide. We started with a serene Westlake boat cruise, followed by a visit to the peaceful Lingyin Temple. Amy shared fascinating insights about the temple’s history, and Leifeng Pagoda offered stunning views of the lake. Longjing Tea Village was another gem, where I learned about the tea-making process and enjoyed a delightful tasting session.

Next, we traveled to Suzhou, where Darcy took over. The Lingering Garden was breathtaking, and Darcy’s knowledge made it even more special. Hanshan Temple was peaceful, and its connection to the Tang Dynasty poet Hanshan was intriguing. We finished in Tongli Water Town, a picturesque town with narrow canals and traditional architecture. The boat ride was tranquil, and Darcy’s stories enriched the experience.

The drivers were also excellent, ensuring smooth transitions between cities. This tour offered the perfect mix of culture, nature, and history. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting these iconic cities!
