My husband and I (both 72) were hesitant to plan a Beijing trip on our own, so we booked this 3-day tour from Shanghai—and it was the best decision we made. The company’s team was incredibly attentive from the start: they confirmed our mobility needs (we walk slowly and need frequent breaks) and tailored the itinerary to keep us comfortable, no rushing or steep climbs.

Our guide was warm, knowledgeable, and so considerate. At the Great Wall, he arranged a cable car up and down, so we avoided tiring ourselves out, and pointed out shaded spots to rest along the way while sharing stories about the wall’s construction. At the Forbidden City, he took us through less crowded corridors and explained the history in simple, engaging terms—never overwhelming us with too much information.

The driver was equally fantastic: he always opened the car doors for us, kept the temperature just right, and drove steadily, even in Beijing’s traffic. The vehicle was clean, spacious, and had easy access for us to get in and out.

The itinerary included all the must-sees without feeling packed: Tiananmen Square (we visited early to beat the crowds), the Temple of Heaven (with plenty of time to sit and admire the architecture), a quiet hutong tour by rickshaw (much easier than walking!), and a traditional Chinese lunch at a restaurant with comfortable seating.

What stood out most was how the guide and company prioritized our comfort. They even checked in with us each evening to make sure we were rested. This tour made Beijing’s wonders accessible and enjoyable for us seniors. We came back with wonderful memories and would absolutely book with them again!
