Our 3-day trip to Guilin from Shanghai was incredible—honestly one of the highlights of our China visit. From the start, communication with the company was super smooth. They responded quickly, were really flexible with our requests, and helped tailor the timing perfectly for our schedule.
Our guide was a gem—fluent in English, super knowledgeable, and just had great energy the whole time. She shared so much about the local culture, especially when we visited the minority villages near the Longji Rice Terraces. You could tell she really loved what she was doing, and that made the experience even better.
The driver was fantastic too. The car was clean, smelled nice, and he drove super steadily even on those winding mountain roads. Felt totally safe and relaxed the whole way.
As for the itinerary, it was packed with highlights but didn’t feel rushed. Day one we did the Longji Rice Terraces, and the views were absolutely unreal—like something out of a painting. We also visited a traditional Zhuang village, which felt so authentic and not touristy. Day two was the famous Li River cruise, and wow… cruising past those karst mountains was just magical. We ended in Yangshuo and explored West Street at night—lively, fun, and full of surprises. On the last day we had time for a bit more sightseeing before heading back.
If you’ve got just a few days but want to experience the best of Guilin—nature, culture, and food—this tour really covers it all without wasting a minute. Highly recommend!
