We just finished a 7-day trip from Shanghai to Beijing and Xi’an, and honestly, it was incredible from start to finish. The whole thing was super well-organized. The company was great at communicating—quick replies, really flexible when we asked to tweak our schedule a bit, and everything went exactly as planned.
Our guides were a major highlight. In Beijing, our guide spoke excellent English and was super knowledgeable—not just reading facts but actually telling stories that made places like the Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, and Tiananmen Square feel alive. The Jingshan Park view over the Forbidden City was amazing, and the walk through the hutongs gave us a real local vibe. In Xi’an, the guide was just as good—she knew every detail about the Terracotta Warriors and made the ancient city wall and Big Wild Goose Pagoda way more interesting than we expected.
Our drivers in both cities were also great. The cars were spotless, had no weird smells (huge plus), and they drove super smoothly, which was perfect because we were traveling with kids and didn’t want any surprises.
The itinerary itself was super efficient—we only had a week, but we saw all the top spots without ever feeling rushed. No wasted time, no tourist traps, just really well-curated stops with enough time to actually enjoy them. Definitely recommend this tour if you want to see the best of Beijing and Xi’an with zero stress.
