We only had half a day in Shanghai, and choosing this 5-6 hour Huangpu River cruise turned out to be the perfect decision! Our guide was amazing—fluent in English, super knowledgeable, and great at sharing interesting stories about the city’s past and present. It wasn’t just sightseeing; we actually learned a lot about the history behind The Bund, Pudong’s skyline, and the colonial-era buildings along the river.
The company was also great—communication was smooth from the start, and they were super flexible when we needed to change our departure time. The driver was professional, the vehicle was spotless and had no odor, and most importantly, he drove very safely, which we really appreciated since we had kids with us.
As for the itinerary, it was super well-organized. Even with limited time, we got to see all the iconic spots—gliding past the historic Bund, catching the sunset glow on the skyscrapers of Lujiazui, and even passing under the beautifully lit bridges after dark. The cruise itself was scenic, relaxing, and just the right pace—not rushed at all. If you’re short on time but want a solid glimpse of Shanghai’s charm, this is 100% worth it!
