3-Day Huangshan Adventure: Yellow Mountain Hiking with Overnight Stay and Huizhou Culture Tour

Day 1 Huangshan Arrival

Pick up service is arranged at your Shanghai downtown hotel (based on your requirement), you will find a welcome sign "Your Way Holiday". Drive you to Shanghai train station to catch the train to Huangshan. 

Upon arrival, your Huangshan guide will await you at the train station exit holding a sign saying "Your Way Holiday." From there, we will proceed to explore Tunxi Old Street.

Tunxi Old Street in Huangshan is a historic gem renowned for its well-preserved Ming and Qing dynasty architecture. Lined with traditional shops, tea houses, and ancient residences, it offers a nostalgic journey through time. Visitors can savor local delicacies, shop for exquisite souvenirs like Huizhou inkstones and bamboo products, and immerse themselves in the area's rich cultural heritage. The street's charming atmosphere, adorned with red lanterns and stone-paved alleys, makes it a delightful destination for both history enthusiasts and travelers seeking authentic cultural experiences.

After visiting the Tunxi Old Street,  head to the hotel for check-in. The hotel is conveniently located nearby, offering comfortable accommodations for a restful stay. Enjoy the blend of historical exploration and modern comfort, ensuring a memorable trip experience.

Day 2 Mt.Huangshan

After breakfast at your hotel, check out and deposit your suitcases in the hotel. You can collect it on your way back. Take your valuables, passport and a small bag or backpack for your overnight stay on the mountain.

Later, drive along Huangshan Expressway to Huangshan Mountain, Then change for the local green bus and continue to drive for about 15 minutes along the zigzag mountain road before you get to the bus station at Yungu where you will take the cable car from Yungu Station to the top of the mountain.

First we came to Begin-to-Believe Peak, Beginning-to-Believe Peak is located east of North Sea in Huangshan Mountain at a height of 1,668 meters. Legend has it that in ancient times a man did not believe in the tales people told of the beauty of the Huangshan Mountain. He then traveled here and when he arrived at this Peak, he suddenly realized the truth in the people's description of the mountains beauty, giving this place its name.Beginning-to-Believe Peak is noted for generous greenery and its shaped rocks. It is said: "The beauty of Huangshan is not fulfilled until you reach this peak". Every year, numerous visitors come in search of its charming beauty.

And then moving to the Cloud Dispelling Pavilion. This pavilion offers unparalleled panoramic views of mist-shrouded peaks and deep valleys. Celebrated for its natural beauty and revered in Chinese culture for inspiring poets and artists for centuries, it stands as an iconic spot in Huangshan. After enjoying breakfast, we will take the cable car down the mountain and head to our next destination, Shexian, renowned for its traditional ancient Huizhou architecture. Our journey will delve into the rich cultural heritage of this historic town.

Upon arrival, you will first visit Doushan Street, a charming and historically rich area in Shexian County, Huangshan, Anhui Province, China. This well-preserved street is lined with numerous traditional Huizhou residences, showcasing the unique style of Huizhou architecture. Our guided tour offers insights into the architectural details and cultural significance of these structures, providing a deeper understanding of Huizhou's heritage.
