Day 1 Shanghai-Huangshan

  • Place&Transport: Shanghai
  • Today's Activities: Transfer to your hotel in Huangshan downtown
  • Accommondation: Three, Four or Five stars hotel (Can be customized) in Huangshan downtown

Our Shanghai driver will Pick up from your hotel and transfer you to the Shanghai Hongqiao station, you will take the high-speed train from shanghai to Huangshan.

Upon your arrival at Huangshan, your personal guide will greet you at the exit of Huangshan Train Station holding the board with "Huangshan Private Tour" on it and escort you to your hotel. 

Your private driver will be happy to help you put away your luggage. What you need to do is sitting back and relaxing in the car. Your guide will help you check in the hotel in the downtown Huangshan City and provide information you need.

Day 2 Tunxi-Mt.Huangshan

  • Place&Transport: Tunxi
  • Today's Activities: Mt.Huangshan
  • Accommondation: Three, Four or Five stars hotel (Can be customized) on Mt.Huangshan

After breakfast, bus to the Huangshan Scenic Area transfer center, where you are arranged on shuttle bus riding to the Yungu cable station. You can take Yungu cable car at your own expense: CNY 80/pp.

Upon arrival, the following activities and attractions you will visit: The White Goose Peak, the Beginning-to-Believe Peak , Black Tiger pine, etc.

After lunch Visit: The Cloud-dispelling Pavilion,The Flying-over Rock, The Bright Summit, Xihai Grand Canyon.

Day 3 Mt.Huangshan-Tunxi Old Street

After lunch, take the Yungu cable car down the hill (at your own expense: CNY 80/pp), then drive back to the Huangshan downtown.

Return to Huangshan city, and your last destination is Tunxi Old Street. At the foot of Mt. Huangshan, at the bend of Xin'an River, lies the beautiful mountain town called "Tunxi ", which is dubbed as the flowing Qingming Scroll (also Along the River during the Qingming Festival), one of the tops ten Chinese traditional paintings. Similar to the Qingming Scroll which presents the lively local life, here in Tunxi Ancient Street, colorful bazaars of local features are displayed in front of your eyes. It is also listed as one of China's Top Ten Historical and Cultural Streets.

In this street, shoppers will enjoy the oldest stores in Huangshan downtown, some of which have been doing business for centuries. You can buy some beautiful keepsake here, or find the local cuisine in this street by your own. Later, drive you back to your hotel in Huangshan downtown.

Day 4 Tunxi-Shexian-Jingdezhen

  • Today's Activities: Shexian County, Jingdezhen

In the morning, take a bus to Shexian CountyIt's a National Historical and Cultural Town. It was firstly established in Qing Dynasty on, it had long been the seat of the prefecture, called Huizhou Prefecture. Today you will visit five typical spots over there.

Upon arrivel, your first spot is Tangyue ArchwaysThis scenic area is located in Tangyue Village, 10 km away from the ancient Huizhou Town and 27 km away from Tunxi, the seat of the municipal government of Huangshan city.  Seven archways are standing in line to the order of Loyalty, Piety, Charity and Righteousness, each telling a moving and unforgettable story.

Your lunch will be arranged at the local restaurant popular with the local people to stay away from the tourists' meals.

After that drive to the Chengkan Village, Chengkan is located on the south foot of Huangshan Mountain Scenic Area, which belongs to the list of World Natural and Cultural Heritage Site, and roughly has 15 kilometers far away from Yansi Town, the administrative center of Huizhou district. Chengkan is the hometown of two people of virtue and the No.1 village of Jiangnan region(呈坎双贤里, 江南第一村).

In the afternoon, drive to the Jingdezhen, bordering Anhui to the north. It is known as the "Porcelain Capital" because it has been producing pottery for 1,700 years. It is an international ceramics center focusing on the development and enrichment of ceramics in China and abroad. Artist Residency, Education Center, Yi DesignStudio, Mufei Gallery and our Cafe Shop make up The Pottery Workshop Jingdezhen.

The Pottery Workshop is surrounded by hundreds of small, independent craftsmen and artists. Clay producers, throwers, sculptors, mold makers, blue & white decorators, glaze shops, public kilns, brush makers, blacksmiths, and box makers are only a sampling of the craftsmen working in our community.

Day 5 Jingdezhen-Wuyuan

  • Today's Activities: Jingdezhen Ceramics Museum, Wuyuan Countryside arrival

Today, first pay a visit to the Ceramics museum, The museum has a rich collection of over 5,000 articles. The items on display include ceramics from past dynasties, historical information about ceramics, precious collections of paintings and calligraphies, among which many are of excellent quality.

The antique architecture is in two parts: Ming Garden and Qing Garden. The 'Wangbo Residence' in Ming Garden is a house in the typical Hui style. The two most representative buildings in Qing Garden are the 'Yuhuantang', a memorial temple in the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), and the 'Dafu Residence', meaning a residence for scholars in the Qing Dynasty.

In the afternoon, head to the Wuyuan Countryside, Wuyuan is located in northeast of Jiangxi Province. Their most predominant characteristics are villages typical of the Jiangnan area and ancient buildings of the Hui style of the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368-1911). In recent years, Wuyuan has become one of the most popular tourist destinations. It is honored as the “Most Beautiful Countryside in China” by Chinese National Geographic Magazine. As is written in the County Annals of Wuyuan, 85% of Wuyuan County is covered by mountains, 10% by fields, and the other 5% by rivers and villages. The most predominant characteristics of Wuyuan are villages typical of the Jiangnan area and ancient buildings of the Hui style of the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368-1911).

Day 6 Wuyuan-Shanghai

Wuyuan has at least 50 old villages that have remained almost unchanged over the last century. However, it is known not only for its natural scenery, but also for its glorious past. The remote county was home to some of China's top scholars, including Zhu Xi, a Confucian master in the Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279), and Zhan Tianyou, China's first railway engineer. It also produced some of the country's richest merchants.

Merchants from Huizhou, an ancient prefecture Wuyuan belonged to, together with those from north China's Shanxi Province, dominated China's business field for about 500 years until the end of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). These merchants attached importance to education.
