We had a wonderful day exploring Shanghai. Autumn was our guide and she was fantastic. She provided insight into cultural, historical and architectural details of each site we visited. Alex was the guide during our Shanghai full day tour and he definitely deserves a five star rating! Alex was our private guide for the two of us in this Shanghai day tour. Very knowledgeable,spoke excellent English, relaxed pace, with many options to pick from. We stopped and had a tea tasting (ceremony)which was very interesting and educational. Rita took us to Shanghai Shic for lunch which was purely delightful. We saw Shanghai Urban Planning Exibition Hall at the people's quare that was way more interesting than it sounds and the Jade Buddha Temple with Alex's interpretations was superior to any of the temples we have visited in the past.Mr.Wang was our driver who dropped us off and picked us up many times. I can’t speak highly enough of the private full-day tour of Shanghai we took with Shanghai Private Tour. Our guide, Bonnie, spoke amazing English and fully accommodated every special request we made for the day. Bonnie was super knowledgeable about Shanghai and Chinese history. We never felt rushed, and our tour ended up going for around 10 hours, ending with a night view of the city from the top of Shanghai Tower. At first, I almost did not take this Shangai day tour due to the price, but the price was well worth the experience. Our guide, David, was fantastic. He is very knowledgeable, spoke exceptional English, and was very personable. We had a wonderful experience with him, and accomplished much more than we would have on our own.
