What can I say? A perfect day, well spent with Autumn who is an amazing, knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating and more, guide with a sense of humour! The entire day was planned and customized to what we wanted, professionally managed and executed. I can highly recommend Autumn to anyone who wants to have a stress free guide of the best Shanghai has to offer.

Shanghai is an amazing city with so much history, stunning architecture old and new. The day started with a pickup at our hotel, then a walk to Yu Gardens. We Visited people's Square, The Jade Buddha Temple, and were dropped off at the Shanghai Tower, in between a most divine lunch. Autumn. thank you for a great holiday in Shanghai! Xie Xie!

Our family enjoyed every minute of this wonderful, amazing city tour Shanghai! Autumn is knowledgeable, thoughtful, careful and friendly. Our van was cool and comfortable and the driver was excellent and everything went to schedule. Autumn expertly navigated us through all of the required reservations and health checks at our stops. We began in charming Old Shanghai on the way into Yu Gardens that was so much better with Autumn's interpretive knowledge which revealed details and stories that really brought each site we visited alive. We stopped for a delicious lunch at a lovely resurant where Autumn helped us order a fabulous Chinese meal. After lunch we toured the impressive Jade Buddha Temple and went to the French Concession for coffee in a cafe and did a little shopping :) We later went to the Oriental Pearl Tower which gave us amazing views of Pudong, the river and the Bund just as the sun was starting to cast long shadows. What a memorable, beautiful holiday in Shanghai! Autumn is the best! We loved this customised tour so much that we booked Autumn again for a Zhujiajiou Water Town tour later in our week, and we think you should too!!

Sam's China Private Tours in Shanghai sent me a text within 30 minutes of booking to make sure we were in contact. Our guide Autumn arrived on time with a very nice car and driver. Her English was excellent and she was extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of Chinese history and culture. We saw some fabulous places many of which you might not get on a regular tour. Autumn's cheerful disposition made my wife and I feel we were with a dear friend showing us around this wonderful city. 5 stars are too few - we had a wonderfully day in Shanghai and would highly recommend Autumn and Sam's China Private Tour

I had a very nice day with my guide Autumn. She came and met me at my hotel. The tour was perfect and very flexible (schedule, destinations, transportation). Autumn is a very good guide, she was truly outstanding. Her English was excellent so we appreciated a chance to discuss with her some of the details of our journey, She taught me a lot about the various areas we visited and the people living in Shanghai (past and present), etc. She helped us with checking our baggage, in the hotel, etc. We truly appreciated Autumn and we hope to convey our compliments to her.

Also we had an very good local food for lunch in a nice small restaurant.

Our driver Mr.Yen was the best and most thoughtful driver i had during this china trip.

I highly recommand this tour to anyone with a limited time to visit. It's definitely the best way to go!

My wife and I had a layover in Shanghai and decided to venture off while there. We booked this tour 1 hour ahead the tour and everything worked out great. Easy pick up from airport, never rushed, but were very conscious of the timing to ensure we saw what we wanted, but still not be afraid of catching my flight. Susan was a great tour guide, she was very knowledgeable, spoke excellent English and was able to answer all of our questions. She took us through Yu Garden, Old French Concession, the Bund, Nanjing Road and at the end of the day were brought to the airport. And we had the authentic Shanghai food at a very good restaurant recommended by Susan.
With the experience we had at very reasonable price, I intend to look into Shanghai Private Tour more for future travels

The organization was top-notch. I sent an inquiry to Shanghai Private Tour via email to tailor and customize our trip, and Sharon was always polite, professional, and super patient, even though I kept chaging the itinerary up to a week before the trip. But the result was well worth it! We were met by Autumn at hotel lobby, and visited Shanghai Jinmao Tower, Yu Garden and enjoyed a leisurely boat ride on Huangpu River. Autumn is highly knowledgeable and she went the extra mile to ensure our trip in Shanghai was amazing, I did appreciate it. We enjoyed the tour she gave us!
I give Shanghai Private Tour agency and Autumn 5 stars. We would recommend them to anyone. You will not be disappointed.

Sunny is a absolutely wonder guide. She spoke great English and was able to make sure you get to experience the best that Shanghai has to offer. My wife and I are senior travelers, Sunny is warm and patienly, offered a plethora of information on Shanghai backgroud, Chinese culture and history. She was happy to answer all sorts of our random questions regarding socialization, lifestyles, explanations on norms, the education system, etc. There is no way we could have gotten as much from the experience had we tried to do these on our own. Sunny knew where the best photo opportunities were, how to navigate the crowds and where to go to 'highlight' each building/location. He was very attentive and informative.
Highly recommend Shanghai Private Tour and ask Sunny as your guide!
